Founded in 2014 by senior management of Timberland Capital Management KG, Timberland Invest Ltd is a Malta-based investment firm focusing on the distribution of securities, mainly bonds, issued by European issuers in terms of applicable EU regulations.

Timberland Invest Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) as a Category 1A investment services licence holder. At the helm of its local operations are investment professionals with decades of experience in the financial services sector.

Timberland Invest Ltd. is enrolled under the Insurance Distribution Act, Cap. 487 of the Laws of Malta, as a Tied Insurance Intermediary for MAPFRE Middlesea p.l.c. (MMS) through Bonnici Insurance Agency Ltd., and for MAPFRE MSV life p.l.c. (MMSV). Bonnici Insurance Agency Ltd. is enrolled under the Insurance Distribution Act, for MMS. MAPFRE Middlesea p.l.c. (C-5553) is authorised by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) to carry on both long-term and general business under the Insurance Business Act, Cap. 403 of the Laws of Malta. MAPFRE MSV Life p.l.c. (C-15722) is authorised by the MFSA to carry on long-term business under the Insurance Business Act. All entities are regulated by the MFSA.

The General Insurance Business Products are manufactured by MAPFRE Middlesea p.l.c. and the Long-term Insurance Business Products are manufactured by MAPFRE MSV Life p.l.c.. These products are distributed by Timberland Invest Ltd.

Timberland Invest Ltd. can carry out tied insurance distribution activities related to general business groups such as accident and health, motor, marine, transport, and liability insurance amongst others.
