Structuring investments is a complex business that required knowledge and experience. Every transaction is unique as it is tailored to the investor’s needs. Different tax and legal questions arise for different clients (such as the legal form and whether the structure should be set up as a Securitisation, AIFs, UCITS or other structures) in order to consider each individual case and to determine the best solution.

The people at Timberland have over 20 years experience in structuring investments and have already shown that they are often at the forefront of developing new and innovative ways of structuring investments.

As Arranger, Timberland Securities Investment plc has undertaken intensive work to structure the first European multinational cross-border retail securitisation structure in the last 10 years, proving that this is not only a viable option for institutional and professional investors but also for retail investors.

Today our securitisation solutions consist of Timberland Securities plc, a Maltese Securitisation Issuer, Timberland Securities S.A. and Timberland Investment S.A. as Luxemburg Securitisation issuers and subject to the Luxemburg Securitisation act, and last but not least in Timberland Securities SPC and Timberland Securities II SPC.

Within the EU, a number of different securities prospectuses have been approved for the issuing of Securities having a nominal amount of 6.1 bn Euro in total for the public offering in 16 EU and EEA-countries.

But Timberland does structure not only Securitisation vehicles:
We have also incorporated five approved limited partnership investment AIFs, each having an issuing amount of EUR 500 million open for all investors, including retail investors, by public offering.

We have developed a platform for Securitisation, AIFs and alternative investment structures, from which we can launch financial products. We have set up structures in Malta, Germany and Luxembourg for this purpose.
